About the Project Head
Portfolio of Company Head:
Mr Sajib Saha, the owner of Tarashankar Plastic Industries was born in Agartala and is the son of renowned businessman Shri Shankar Lal Saha. He had completed his schooling from Netaji Subhash Vidhyaniketan, which is one of the famous and oldest schools of Tripura. He had graduated from Bir Bikram Evening College. After college years, he joined his family business by being a helping hand, which had been started by his father. He got married in the year 2000 and had his first child born in the year 2002. He was blessed with another child on the year 2013.
Later Years:
On the 16th June 2003, he started his individual business, as a distributor of Nilkamal Plastic Limited throughout the territory of Tripura. In the following years, he was associated with various FMCG companies as a Super Stockist or as being a C & F (Carrying and Forwarding) Agent. Thereafter, he started a transport business, which once again proved successful for the young entrepreneur.
Recent Years:
After gathering sufficient trade experiences, in 2013 he switched his business from trading to manufacturing. He took up the plan to establish himself as a manufacturer of moulded plastic furniture comprising of the products like plastic chairs, tables, tools etc. After overcoming all barriers and constraints on his path, now he plans to inaugurate the plan on 11th September 2013.
Motive behind the new Project:
The main objective behind the set up of Tarashankar Plastic Industry was to provide plastic furniture of low price and high quality for the people of Tripura as this is the first time that such manufacturing had taken place in the State.
